The External Thread Plastic Mold is a two-part mold designed and manufactured with an ejection system for efficient and reliable part removal. The mold features 4 cavities and has been successfully manufactured and put into production.
The mold is made from 2312 mold steel, providing the required durability and dimensional stability for repeated production cycles. The external threads are produced using EDM (spark erosion) and subsequently polished to achieve a precise, smooth, and high-quality threaded surface.
The combination of precision machining, EDM processing, and polishing ensures accurate thread geometry and consistent part quality throughout the production process.
